ANF has obtained images from the village of Recban Xerbi to the south east of Hesekê which was liberated by combatants of the YPG/YPJ (People's/Women's Defense Units) three days ago.

The village is of strategical importance as it is located across the village of Davudiyê which ISIS gangs had previously taken from regime forces.

The medical equipment in Davudiyê show that the village is serving as a health care center for the ISIS gangs. An ambulance of theirs which was left out of use by YPG/YPJ while transporting casualties is seen to have an Iraqi numberplate.

Fighters of the YPG/YPJ also destroyed a bomb-laden vehicle used by ISIS gangs to hinder the operation to liberate the Recman Xerbi village.
