Kurdish activist Imam Sis has been on hunger strike in Newport, Wales. Today he has confirmed he will end his hunger strike, following the message by Abdullah Ocalan calling for an end to hunger strike and death fast actions.

He underlined that "ending the hunger strike, does not mean the end of the struggle against isolation. In fact - he added - we will continue to struggle in other forms to ensure isolation is definitively brought to an end".
