The Serhat Provincial Command made a statement regarding recent spying activities in the region, saying that "those who come to the guerrilla areas and report and spy on us will be our target because of the crime they have committed."
In a written statement, the Serhat Provincial Command said: “The colonialist genocidal Turkish state carries out spying activities by promoting denialism in the Serhat region in order to strike our provincial forces."
The statement continued: "Turkey disguises its informers as "huners" and send then in the guerrilla areas to locate the points of our guerrilla forces and the winter base camps. These activities are especially concentrated in Tendürek, Glîdax and Çemçê areas where the invading Turkish army suffered great blows."
The statement added: "Those who come to the guerrilla areas and carry out reporting and spying activities will be our target because of the crime they have committed. That is why we warn against spying activities in the guerrilla areas, and call on our patriotic people to be sensitive and alert against those informers."
