State forces have yet made no advance into the areas of self-rule despite the heavy aggression conducted by their side against civilian areas in Gever (Yüksekova) district of Hakkari.

As popular resistance against attacks endures for 14 days, Turkish forces have intensified their attacks on the neighborhoods of self-rule as of early morning hours today.

The ongoing bombardment and artillery shelling, however, doesn't help Turkish military and police forces advance into the neighborhoods protected by Civilian Defense Units YPS and YPS-JIN.

Turkish forces have started an aggression on Cumhuriyet and Güngör neighborhoods with heavy weaponry deployed on Şemdinli route. Fighters of YPS and YPS-JIN are retaliating the attacks.

One member of Turkish special operation forces was killed and another was wounded during heavy clashes of last night.
