According to local sources, the jets have been flying over Qandil region of Medya Defense Zones in South Kurdistan territory since 13.30 Tuesday afternoon.

As aerial activity continues, there is no information on whether there has been any bombings.

Turkish fighter jets had bombed civilian residential areas the previous day.
