HPG (People’s Defense Forces) guerrilla Dewran Baysal (Simko Kerboran) who lost his life in a clash with Turkish forces in Hakkari on July 8, was laid to rest at the Asri Cemetery in Batman province. HDP (Peoples’ Democratic Party) Feleknas Uca and Mehmet Rüştü Tiryaki also attended the funeral.

AKP-MHP judiciary has launched an investigation against both deputies for “spreading propaganda for a terrorist organization”.

HDP Amed MPs Remziye Tosun and Musa Farisoğlulları were also subjected to an investigation for attending the funeral of HPG guerrilla Cudi Amed in Diyarbakır last week.
