The Iranian regime has recently increased its attacks on Kolbers (workers who carry weight on their backs for a daily stipend), and targeted them this time in Shîno city of Urmia province.

According to Eastern Kurdistan Human Rights Association, the attack by regime forces near Shino’s Kelashîn village left a kolber dead and another wounded. The wounded kolber was taken to the Shino Hospital.

On the other hand, reports say that 20 kolbers  were taken into custody in Dolebî village in Sardasht city of the Urmia province, and that they have been fined after their properties and loads were taken away from them.
