Iraqi Prime Minister Mohammed Shia Sudani sent a delegation to investigate the Turkish state's attack on Sulaymaniyah International Airport.

The delegation, consisting of Iraqi National Security Advisor Kasım Ereci, Head of the National Security Unit Hamid Elşetri, Iraqi Anti-Terrorism Unit Head Abdulwahab Elsadi and Iraqi Joint Operations Command Deputy Elmehêmedawi, went to Sulaymaniyah and met with PUK chair Bafil Talabani.

At the meeting, Bafil Talabani stated that Iraqi President Mohammad Shiya Sudani has the responsibility of investigating the attack and asked for the results of the investigation to be shared with the public.
