Jinên Tîrêjên Rojê announced that it carried out an action targeting the 75th Year Police Station located in the neighbourhood of Eski Kışla on 8 July 8 at 2.30am in Yüksekova district of Hakkari, and the special operations police station 100 meters above it.
In a statement, Jinên Tîrêjên Rojê said that there were clashes between the units and the policemen until the morning hours after the action. "Although the exact number is not known, it was seen that some of the occupying policemen were seriously injured."
Jinên Tîrêjên Rojê also shared the information that their units reached their areas safely after the action.
The statement said: “This successful action was carried out in memory of the commander A. Rezak Kameri (Renas Oremarî) who was murdered in Rojava and the 14 July Martyrs. We will definitely avenge all our martyrs and crown their memories with victory.”
