A civilian administration will be formed to coordinate all autonomous administrations and civilian assemblies in Northern Syria.
Syrian Democratic Council Presidential Council Member Hikmet Hebib spoke to ANHA and said they are about to take a step to ensure coordination among all autonomous administrations and assemblies.
Hebib said a joint civilian administration will be formed within this framework: “Cantons and civilian assemblies have submitted documents to us to form the civilian administration.”
Hebib added: “The main goal of this administration is to follow up on the autonomous administratin and the civilian assemblies. It will ensure the coordination among them. But the council to be formed can`t intervene with the political efforts of the autonomous adminitration or the civilian assemblies. The civilian administration will be based in Ayn Isa.”
Hebib stated that the Syrian Democratic Council (MSD) held its third congress in Tabqa at a time of need.Hebib said: “Due to the invading Turkish state attacks in Afrin and other parts of Northern Syria, especially after the gains made by the Syrian Democratic Fores (SDF), when ISIS gangs were trapped in a limited area in Syria, it was imperative that this congress was not delayed.”
