The KCK Executive Council co-presidency issued a written statement and called for participation in the rally to be held in Cologne on 17 February. The statement said: "On 17 February, our people in Europe should demonstrate their level of patriotism and loyalty to Leader Apo with the highest level of participation in the Cologne rally. All people from seven to seventy should attend the rally."
The KCK continued: "An international campaign was launched on 10 October 2023, under the leadership of the friends of the Kurdish people, with the slogan 'Freedom for Leader Öcalan, Solution to the Kurdish Question'. This historic step, initiated on the anniversary of the international conspiracy, was also historic in terms of its results.
The freedom campaign has produced meaningful results not only for the Kurdish people, but for all humanity. The Kurdish people have been trying to convey their voice to the world since the day the international conspiracy began. The freedom campaign has brought our people to this goal. Those who seek equality of life, freedom and democracy, especially the oppressed peoples of the world and women, have achieved their historical goals by gaining thought, organization and action with the Freedom Campaign."
The statement added: "Humanity has been fragmented in thought and action since the dissolution of real socialism. This fragmented situation has been significantly overcome thanks to the theory and paradigm developed by Leader Apo. Participants in the freedom campaign from all over the world and from different segments of society prove this truth with their words and actions. When we take these two historical results into consideration, it becomes clear that the Freedom Campaign was a historical step and produced historical results. In this respect, the Freedom Campaign represents the birth of a new dawn for all humanity. We express our gratitude and congratulate everyone who contributed to this result and led the historic Freedom Campaign, the oppressed peoples of the world, women, young people, workers, ecologists, intellectuals, and everyone who supported them from all over the world with their actions and words."
The KCK said: "Undoubtedly, this success is primarily the success of the patriotic people of Kurdistan. With their unwavering loyalty and struggle to Leader Apo, the Kurdish people have increased the hope of humanity and strengthened the struggle for equality, freedom and democracy. In this respect, we also congratulate the patriotic people of Kurdistan.
The process we are in is a historical process. The Freedom Campaign strengthened those who fought for equality, freedom and democracy against oppression, exploitation and slavery in this historical process. In a process where the contradiction and conflict between the forces of capitalist modernity, which are enemies of humanity and nature, has deepened, the unity and solidarity of the forces of democratic modernity struggling for equality, freedom and democracy have increased even more. People from all over the world have come together and united in the Freedom Campaign in the hope of a new life, a free and exploitation-free world. We see this as an important and historical development. Our belief is that everyone sees and evaluates this way."
Cologne rally will start new phase
The KCK said: "Now it is time to take this historical process to a new stage and raise it to a higher level. Our people and all their friends will demonstrate this determination in the Great Cologne rally. The Freedom Campaign started by bringing the absolute isolation of Leader Apo, his physical freedom and the solution of the Kurdish problem onto the agenda. We believe that this goal has been achieved with the actions and events carried out so far, and that we will now enter a new phase with the Cologne rally. In this respect, it is very important that the Cologne rally takes place at the required level and quality.
We call on all our people living in Europe to join the great Cologne rally with our friends. On 17 February, our people in Europe should demonstrate their level of patriotism and loyalty to Leader Apo with the highest level of participation in the Cologne rally."
