KCK: Not only ISIS but also its supporters will pay for Hesekê

KCK condemned the heinous attack in Hesekê and said “Not only ISIS gangs but also the states and political powers that support ISIS will pay for these crimes against humanity.”

KCK Executive Council Co-Presidency issued a written statement on Hesekê massacre and stated that ISIS, the enemy of humanity, massacred tens of women, children, and old and young people at a wedding in Hesekê, Rojava, just like it had massacred civilians in Antep, North Kurdistan. KCK condemened the heinous attack, and offered its condolences to the families of the martyred civilians and to the people of Hesekê.

KCK stated that fascist ISIS gangs attack civilians in order to avenge the defeats they have been suffering at the hands of Rojava revolutionaries, and the planned attacks on weddings show that these gangs have no regard for the values of humanity.

KCK said “the states and political powers that have supported ISIS are also responsible for these crimes against humanity, and will pay for their role in these crimes.”

KCK Executive Council Co-Presidency the AKP government and Tayyip Erdoğan are the main supporters of ISIS and have targeted Rojava Revolution several times so far. KCK noted that Turkey and ISIS are the two main enemies of Rojava Revolution, and have supported one another due to their enmity towards Rojava.

'AKP’S FIGHT AGAINST ISIS IS FAKE'

KCK emphasized that the AKP government’s fight against ISIS is fake, and Erdoğan entered Syria because of his enmity towards Kurdish people. KCK stated that the Turkey pretends to be fighting ISIS in order to escalate its attack on Rojava revolution, the goals of Turkey attacking Jarablus and occupying Rojava are the same as the goals of ISIS that has carried out the massacre in Hesekê. KCK reiterated that Kurdish people, Rojava revolutionaries and the patriotic forces of Syria would resist the fascism of ISIS and the AKP government, and expel both groups from Rojava and Syria.

KCK called upon the patriotic and democratic forces of Syria to enhance their joint and democratic struggle against ISIS gang groups and the AKP government, and invited Kurdish people from around the globe to show solidarity.

Lastly, KCK Executive Council Co-Presidency emphasized that the Kurdish Freedom Movement would continue its resistance of freedom and democracy against the despotic forces of the Middle East, and wipe the region off of ISIS gangs and the powers that support them.
