A KNK delegation was to hold meetings in Rojava, but the KDP did not allow them to cross the border.
The Brussels-based Kurdistan National Congress (KNK) had launched a series of meetings with political parties in Rojava.
KNK Co-chair Rebiwar Reshid travelled from Europe to Southern Kurdistan for the meetings and, accompanied by KNK Members Ehmed Karamus and Eris Elizadeh, wanted to continue his visits in Rojava.
But the KNK delegation was stopped at the Faysh Khabur Border Crossing by border officers of the KDP on Wednesday.
KNK members were not allowed to cross the border and had to return to Hewler. The delegation is expected to make a statement on the ban.
