Kirkuk residents visit guerillas for Eid
Representatives from Tevgera Azadî, RJAK and Komalên Ciwan and local people visited the guerillas in the Kirkuk front and celebrated their Eid.

Representatives from Kurdistan Free Society Movement (Tevgera Azadî), Kurdistan Free Women’s Movement (RJAK) and Kurdistan Youth Movement (Komalên Ciwan) and local people visited the guerillas in the Kirkuk front and celebrated their Eid.
The crowd was greeted by Kirkuk HPG and YJA commanders Berfin Deniz and Serdar Garzan, and several other guerillas.
Tevgera Azadî Co-chair Şilan Şakir celebrated the Eid with the guerillas and said they as a people were grateful to the guerilla for defending Kurdistan under these harsh circumstances. HPG and YJA-Star commanders spoke in the visit and thanked the representatives and the people for their visit and expressed that they will always fulfill their duty of national defense.
“THE BEST PART OF EID WAS THE VISIT WITH ÖCALAN”
Şilan Şakir also mentioned the visit with Kurdish People’s Leader Abdullah Öcalan on the first day of Eid and said that the visit was received with a true holiday joy by the Kurds.
Şakir said the Kurdish people experienced a holiday joy when they heard from Öcalan, who had not been contacted for a long time and concerns whom were rising, and that “This visit is a result of the resistance of Kurds and their friends.”
YJA-Star Kirkuk commander Berfin Deniz said they were to raise the struggle until the day the Kurdish People’s Leader is free and continued: “Hearing from our Leader, learning that he is healthy has given our people great morale. It has also strengthened and increased our resolve for the struggle.”
“HEARING FROM THE LEADER WAS THE TRUE EID”
Guerilla mothers and REJAK members Leyla Mecid Ali and Lavin Nureddin and visitor Bilen Faris spoke to ANF during the visit and expressed that hearing from Öcalan gave them a true holiday joy, and said: “Receiving news that our Leader’s health is good gave us double Eid. From now on, we will raise the struggle until our Leader is free.”
Mothers of HPG and YJA-Star guerillas Axin Zana and Rubar Sirwan thanked the Kirkuk residents who came to visit and said: “As the Leader says, it isn’t ethical to celebrate Eid in a country where 30 people die every day. But we experienced a true holiday joy because we heard from our Leader.”
