A delegation of the Kurdistan National Congress (KNK) is visiting Hewler (Erbil), the capital of Federal Kurdistan Region, to hold a series of meetings to promote Kurdish national unity.
The delegation led by KNK Hewlêr co-chair Zeynep Murad visited the Parliament of Kurdistan Region on Tuesday. The KNK officials held separate meetings with representatives of the parliamentary groups of Gorran, PUK, Yekgirtu, Komel and Nifşe Nu.
Speaking to Rojnews, Zeyneb Murad stated that they discussed the Turkish state’s attacks on South Kurdistan. She stressed that the parliament of Kurdistan region should convene to discuss Turkey’s attacks and fulfill its responsibility. She said they conveyed this to the party representatives.
