KONGRA GEL Co-Presidency noted that Turkish President Tayyip Erdoğan initiated a comprehensive war against Kurdish people and their freedom struggle for his personal ambitions for power, and recalled the continuous bombing of Medya Defense Zones for the past two days.
KONGRA GEL reminded insidious Erdoğan policies aiming to limit Kurdish people politically and leave them below the threshold, isolate Leader Apo, carry out operations in guerilla zones and deny the negotiation process led by Leader Apo.
Noting that Erdoğan intensified its war efforts in order to avenge its recent defeat after the elections where voters ended Erdoğan’s dreams to reign, KONGRA GEL said that Erdoğan’s sick mentality that could do anything in order to continue his ambitions for power.
Warning that Erdoğan could even burn down the whole country for his personal interests, KONGRA GEL invited peoples to end Erdoğan politically and repel war policies with a glorious people’s resistance.
KONGRA GEL stated that Erdoğan did not learn any lessons from PKK’s historical resistance and would not now insist on war and insult Leader Apo and freedom forces by refusing Leader Apo’s peace proposal if he had understood the Apoist will and the July 14 resistance that won a victory in Amed prisons against the brutality of a fascist regime.
Remarking that everyone should rise up against Tayyip Erdoğan’s war policies that impose a destructive war on peoples for their rejection of dictatorship, KONGRA GEL called upon peoples to bring to account those who wasted Leader Apo’s peace proposal.
KONGRA GEL underlined the necessity for building a peace and democracy front in Europe, Turkey and Kurdistan in order to repel Erdoğan’s war policies that unleashed ISIS brutality and created a social divide through religious conflict. KONGRA GEL ended its statement by inviting women, young people and all oppressed peoples to enhance the struggle against Erdoğan fascism and carry out an effective and democratic peoples’ resistance based on the principle of self-defense.
