KONGRA GEL Co-Presidency issued a written statement on the massacre of civilians in Hesekê, and offered its condolences to the families of the victims that lost their lives during the ISIS gangs’ massacre.

'WE CONDEMN ISIS AND ITS SUPPORTERS'

KONGRA GEL condemned barbaric and genocidal ISIS gangs and their supporters, and said that these forces inflict the worst damage on Islam and Muslim peoples. KONGRA GEL emphasized that with massacres like the one in Hesekê, ISIS gangs try to stop or limit initiatives such as the one SDF launched in Manbij.

'EFFECTIVE SECURITY PRECAUTIONS NEEDED'

KONGRA GEL emphasized the need for taking security precautions that will enable the administration of Rojava and North Syria to prevent similar ISIS attacks. KONGRA GEL invited Asayish and Civilian Defense Forces (HPC) to take these needed security precautions, and ended its statement by inviting everyone to show social solidarity with the families of the victims of Hesekê massacre.
