Women from Kongra Star call for action by the international community and United Nations against the crimes of the Turkish state.
The Aleppo Coordination of North-East Syrian women’s umbrella organization Kongra Star made a press statement on the Turkish state’s increasingly ongoing attacks and crimes against Medya Defense Zones in southern Kurdistan (northern Iraq) and North-East Syria.
The press statement was read out by Hesne Tabone, a member of Kongra Star Aleppo Coordination, in front of the Şehîd Şîlan Commune office in Sheikh Maqsoud neighborhood.
The statement denounced Turkey’s attacks on North-East Syria, hostile policies against the people in the region and interference in the Middle East territories, and condemned the silence of the international community and states in the face of these violations and crimes.
Kongra Star called on the international community, the United Nations and relevant institutions to fulfil their duties against Turkey’s crimes and to take action to stop Turkey’s demographic change and colonial project.
