Kurdish journalist Nûjiyan Erhan sustained a critical injury as result of a targeted attack by KDP-AKP gangs during 3 March's attacks on Shengal. Shot in the head, Erhan underwent a surgery the same day. Held in intensive care since, Nûjiyan lost her life yesterday.

The Kurdish journalist will be laid to rest in Shengal following a funeral ceremony tomorrow.
