The AKP-run municipality of Mardin’s central Artuklu district has removed the Kurdish letters on the signboards of villages.
Signboards of the villages within the boundaries of the Artuklu district in Mardin province have been changed. The AKP-run district municipality removed the Kurdish letters X, W and Q which were replaced with Turkish letters H, V and K.
HDP Artuklu city council member Mehmet Ali Amak strongly condemned the racist act of the Artuklu municipality.
