The co-mayor of Van’s Edremit district, Sevil Rojbin Çetin, Co-chair of the DBP Edremit district organisation, Abdulkerim Batmaz, and DBP administrator Mehmet Batu have received prison sentences after a hearing at Van 2nd High Criminal Court on Thursday.
All the three politicians have been sentenced to ten years each for alleged “membership to a terrorist organization”.
