Kurdish youngster murdered by Turkish soldiers laid to rest
Attack by soldiers of the Turkish army left a civilian dead and another wounded in the countryside of Van province.
Earlier today, 20-year-old Emrah Görür was killed and Saim Yılmaz severely wounded as result of fire opened by Turkish soldiers in the rural neighborhood of Kaşkol (Qaşqol) in Van’s Başkale district.
Yılmaz was rushed to Van Regional Training and Research Hospital where he underwent surgery. He is reported to be in stable condition and out of intensive care now.
Görür has been laid to rest with prayers at the cemetery in Iskele region of Van.
