The list of the 50 people going on an indefinite hunger strike, in which all constituent of the Kurdish movement participate to demand communication with Öcalan, tomorrow in Amed has been finalized.
In a historic statement, constituents of the Kurdish movement had announced that they would go on a hunger strike on September 5 to demand communication with Kurdish People’s Leader Abdullah Öcalan. Discussions on the location of the hunger strike and the list of the 50 people that would participate in it were finalized and the preparations for the hunger strike entered their last phase.
ACTION TO BE HELD IN DBP PROVINCIAL BUILDING
Tomorrow, a group of 50 people including parliamentarians, mayors and constituent representatives will go on a hunger strike in the DBP Amed Provincial Building and make a press statement in front of the building at 11:00. In their statement, the constituents will declare that the only agenda of the Kurdish political movement will be Öcalan.
LIST OF 50 PEOPLE FINALIZED
Preparations continue in the DBP Amed Provincial Building as the conference room is arranged for the participants of the hunger strike and other rooms are prepared for supporters and guests. Half of the 50 hunger strike participants are women and the action was announced to be indefinite, continue until the demands are met, and spread to other cities in the near future.
The people of Amed are expected to massively participate in the press statement that will be held in front of the DBP Provincial Building tomorrow.
