A roadside IED was detonated during the passing of a Reo type vehicle of the Turkish army that was heading to the Şuwê outpost in Esendere town in Hakkari’s Gever (Yüksekova) district at around 06:30 Wednesday morning.

According to information provided by local sources, 9 soldiers were killed and 4 others wounded as result of the action.
