The Long March to Zînî Wertê promoted by the South Kurdistan Youth Initiative continues. When the mass reached the area of Serkebkan, it was blocked by the police and security forces.

Abdullah Çavreş, responsible for discouraging young people from marching, said that they were instructed by the Ministry of Internal Affairs to not allow the march to continue.

The police told young people they were blocking the march "for your safety", to which the activists replied "we take our responsibility."

Young people held a 45-minute sit-in to protest the PUK security forces attitude. The statement read by Arin Şiwani after the action said: "This march is a march for national unity. To prevent it is to prevent national unity from happening. Why is the PUK preventing this march? Does it also have a finger in the Zînî Wertê conspiracy by any chance?"
