ISIS gangs received a heavy blow on the 4th day of the Operation Liberate Manbij. Manbij Military Assembly took control of the strategically important Til Um Serrac Hill and cut the Raqqa-Manbij road. Our reporter in the field said that forces of the Manbij Military Assembly advanced from the Tişrîn front around 17:30 and cut the Raqqa-Manbij road. The assembly consolidated its control in the area with the expulsion of ISIS gangs from the strategically important location of Til Um Serrac Hill 10 kms to the west of the Euphrates.
Til Um Serrac is known as a well-protected area where the so-called ISIS caliphate Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi used to meet with gang commanders.
Manbij Military Assembly also liberated the villages of Refîa and Um İzam, located 13,5 km and 11 km to the west of the Euphrates respectively, from ISIS gangs this morning around 08:55.
