Manbij Military Assembly entered an important phase of ‘Operation Liberate Manbij’ supported by the SDF, as they completed the encirclement of the city center. Manbij Military Assembly member and Shems Al Shemal commander Muhammed Ebu Adil stated that people of Manbij make up the forces that are fighting ISIS to liberate the city.

Adil noted that the assembly made important progress since June 1, liberated all of Manbij’s villages, and was not ready to enter the city center.
'WE PRIORITIZE THE HEALTH AND SECURITY OF CIVILIANS’

Adil called upon civilians to seek refuge in areas liberated by Manbij Military Assembly, and said that the residents of recently liberated villages have returned to their homes.
‘NO FEAR OF ISIS IN LIBERATED VILLAGES'
Adil noted that hundreds of civilians have been behaded by ISIS so far, but there is no fear of ISIS in liberated villages. Adil emphasized that assembly forces aimed to liberate everyone from ISIS cruelty no matter what their language, religion or race are.
