Manbij Political Council efforts continue in villages
Manbij Political Council has held a meeting in Hayya Büçük village to the east of the city as the Manbij liberation operation continues. Around 90 village assembly members and spokespersons representing 37 villages attended the meeting.

Manbij Political Council has held a meeting in Hayya Büçük village to the east of the city as the Manbij liberation operation continues. Around 90 village assembly members and spokespersons representing 37 villages attended the meeting along with Manbij Political Council co-chair Sozdar Xalid, Council members Şex Ali Cemili, Abdo Mustafa, Berkel Abu Arap and Emel Yusif.
Council co-chair and members gave speeches in the meeting and talked about the goals of the operation and how the people should be governing themselves. Emphasizing the need for the people to live together in fraternity and in an organized manner, the members said they are conscious of the people’s needs and are working intensely on fulfilling them. The members expressed that all villages will take an important step by completing the assembly process and emphasized the importance of participation of women and the youth in the assembly efforts.
The village spokespersons and representatives started their speeches expressing the joy they felt for their villages being saved from ISIS cruelty and demanded work be done to meet basic needs. Emphasizing their content for the outcome of the operation, the representatives said under the ISIS rule life had gotten very expensive, and asked for more gas, which is used to run the well motors necessary to fulfill the need for water and food.
