During the days of the Jasmine Revolution in Egypt many people doubted there would be any chance of the people of Syria being able to rise up against the authoritarian regime of Bashar al Assad.

Little did they know of the days that would follow. Syria is now in the full throes of revolution and the Kurds are playing a vital role!
