There has been an explosion on Amed-Bingöl highway while a military convoy was passing through. Sources report wounds and deaths.

On kilometer 60 of the Amed-Bingöl highway, close to Diwêlê village in Karaz (Kocaköy) district, there was a violent explosion during the passage of the military convoy at around 09:20 local time.

The explosion has created serious damage on the military vehicle. Several ambulances were dispatched to the area and sources report there are wounded and dead people.

The highway was closed for traffic on both ways after the explosion.
