The military operation of the Turkish army continues in the Mount Cudi region in the countryside of Şırnak's Silopi district. The operation is conducted by a large number of soldiers and village guards and sporadic clashes are taking place in the operation zone.

According to information from local sources Turkish troops have intensified their operation in Girê Çolya and Hesena areas. The sources report that the Turkish army is shelling these areas from their outposts in the surroundings. During the clashes one tank and three armoured vehicles were damaged, and these have been transported to Silopi district center. Helicopter activity in the region continues.

The HPG (People's Defence Forces) has not issued a statement on the confrontation yet.
