According to the Mezopotamya news agency (MA) based in Northern Kurdistan, the military operation of the Turkish army, launched yesterday in the Lice district in Amed (Diyarbakir) province, has been extended.

The operation, which includes the settlement areas Kormik (Yünlüce), Barav (Baharlar) and Mizag (Kılıçlı), is also participated by special operations police (PÖH) and special operations gendarmerie (JÖH).

It is yet not clear whether fighting has erupted during the operation.
