An air-supported military operation has been started in the countryside of Amed’s Lice district this morning.

According to reports from the ground, the operation area involves the neighborhoods of Akçapınar (Spêni), Şenlik (Xirabê) and Birlik (Çemê Elika).

Local sources report that several armored and civil cars as well as helicopters and a number of military units are partaking in the operation which is reported to be continuing.
