State forces launched an operation in the Badan (Gimgim), Corsan (Teknedüzü) and Kasima (Köprücük) villages of Muş’s Varto district.

Soldiers were deployed on strategic hilltops and tents were put up on the Zimeyé Badan Hill as part of the operation in which hundreds of soldiers participate. Soldiers were positioned around the villages and along nearby creeks last night.
