The ban imposed on dozens of areas in the province of Hakkari almost two years ago has been extended once again.
The Turkish governorate of the northern Kurdistan province of Hakkari has once again declared 30 areas in the districts of Çukurca, Şemdinli, Yüksekova as well as in the city center as special security zones.
The ban will remain in place for 15 days "for the time being".
The reason declared for the ban was again and again that national security, public order and the well-being of the population must be guaranteed.
The related statement by the governorate did not comment regarding the restrictions faced by the residents due to the ban.
