In the course of the past few days, two Kurdish citizens have been arrested in the province of Sanandaj and have been taken to an unknown location, and three other citizens of Urmia Province, who were previously arrested, are still detained at the Iran’s Intelligence Bureau.
According to the Kurdistan Human Rights Network on Saturday, December 22, two citizens named Peyman Mohammadi, resident of the village of Alak, Kamyaran city, and Shirko Jamshidi from Javroud’s Sarhoya, were arrested by Iranian security forces and transferred to an unknown location.
Also, two brothers from Piranshahr, Seyyed Mosleh Taheri and Seyyed Loghman Taheri, who were arrested by the IRGC Intelligence in Piranshahr since early December, remain under the arrest.
According to another report from Oshnavieh, a citizen named Salam Mardan (27 years old) from the village of Sojja in Oshnavieh, who was detained by the regime’s security forces on October 30, has been transferred to the Urmia Intelligence Bureau detention center. His family had met him in the detention center on December 24 for a few minutes.
It is worth mentioning that the massive summons and arrests of Kurdish citizens has continued since the beginning of this year, and according to the Kurdish Human Rights Network's investigation, more than 15 Kurdish citizens are currently being interrogated in the Central Intelligence Office and the IRGC Intelligence in the cities of Sanandaj and Urmia.
