As the town witnesses heavy clashes since the first day, more than 100 special operations members have been killed so far and state forces could yet not enter one single neighborhood even where self-rule resistance endures with determination.

The attacks of state forces got heavier after as many as 16 special operations members got heavily wounded yesterday evening. The neighborhoods of Yenişehir, Dicle, Fırat and Abdulkadirpaşa were surrounded by dozens of armored vehicles and came under a heavy shelling.

The neighborhoods of self-rule were also targeted by artillery and mortar fire from armored vehicles deployed in various locations. Violent clashes on Çağçağ, Şirin and Kanarya streets continued till the early hours of the morning.
