New actions carried out by the HPG against Turkish occupiers

HPG guerrillas published details of actions carried out against the Turkish army.

The HPG Press Centre has released a press statement detailing the latest operations guerrillas carried out within the scope of the Martyr Pîroz and Martyr Agirî Revolutionary Campaign.

This is the full text of the statement:

"On October 10, our forces carried out comprehensive actions against the invading Turkish army. The details of the actions carried out within this scope are as following;

At 08.15, our forces carried out an action against the invaders positioned on Lêlîkan hill of Sidakan in Southern Kurdistan. Four soldiers were killed in the action in which the enemy positions and shelters were effectively hit from two arms.

Our YJA Star forces carried out an assassination action targeting soldiers positioned on Lêlîkan hill at 14.20. One enemy soldier was killed in the action.

Our forces carried out an assassination action against the enemy soldiers positioned on the Tepê Xwedê area in the Barzan region of Southern Kurdistan at 19.00 and one soldier was killed here.

At 11:30, our forces carried out an action against the enemy soldiers positioned on Xeregol hill in Çelê (Çukurca) district of Hakkari. The number of dead and wounded soldiers in this action, where the enemy positions and shelters on the hill were effectively hit, could not be determined.

Following the action, the invading Turkish army indiscriminately bombed the area with attack-type helicopters, howitzers and mortar shells.

Within the scope of Martyr Delal Amed and Besta Martyrs Revolutionary Campaign, our forces carried out an action against the invading Turkish army soldiers positioned on Martyr Canxort hill in Siirt province at 10.45 on October 9. Three enemy soldiers were killed and two soldiers were wounded in this action.

On the same day, at 16:30, our forces carried out an action targeting enemy forces positioned on the Martyr Canxort hill for the second time. The number of dead and wounded soldiers could not be determined in the action where enemy positions were put under heavy fire.

On September 27, the invading Turkish army launched an operation around the Badibê village in Bagok region of Mardin with the support of unmanned aerial vehicles and armoured vehicles.

In the morning of September 30, the invading Turkish forces intensively bombed the area with warplanes and helicopters, and after the bombardment, clashes took place between the occupying forces and our guerrillas. In the clashes, our comrades Medya Mawa (member of the Mardin State Command) and Akîf Bagok fell as martyr after fighting heroically against the enemy forces during the clashes."
