Shahsuwar Abdulwahid, leader of the New Generation Movement, expressed their support for Abdullah Öcalan’s call, stating that it is now time for dialogue, reconciliation and commitment to a common future.
Commenting on Abdullah Öcalan’s ‘Call for Peace and Democratic Society’ on February 27, the New Generation Movement’s leader Shahsuwar Abdulwahid said, “Mr. Öcalan's call for dissolution is the beginning of a common life and a historic opportunity to achieve a lasting and real peace.”
“True peace is based on justice, mutual respect and recognition of rights. It is now time for dialogue, reconciliation and commitment to a common future,” Abdulwahid underlined.
