Mezopotamya Agency shared a photo of the moment the fire broke out in the military operation that started on 18 June and expanded to the rural areas of Gercüş (Kercews) district on 22 June.
In the photo, the fire from the helicopter is clearly visible.
The fire that broke out on 22 June after helicopters opened fire in the village of Bilêxşê caused great destruction.
The fire lasted for days in June in the Mawa Mountain region in Heskîf (Hasankeyf) district of Batman (Êlih).
Turkish soldiers also prevented the fire from being intervened, and thus the fire reached into the village. The fire went out thanks to the rain on 23 June.
