Addressing the audience, Maxmur People's Assembly Yusiv Kara said: "We salute the 50th Newroz and Leader Öcalan, the guerrillas on the mountain and all the Kurdish people. We continue our struggle with the spirit of the 50th Newroz. Mazlum Doğan brought the struggle until today by celebrating Newroz with three matchsticks.
