Newroz celebration in Qandil continues with speeches and cultural activities.

Newroz in Qandil region of PKK-held Medya Defense Zones started at 11.00 with singing of the Kurdish march Ey Raqip. Then, Newroz fire was lit and an opening speech was given.

Tevgera Azadi Co-chair Şilan Şakir gave a speech on the importance of Newroz.

After the speech, artist Casım Saz and band Koma Penaber took the stage.
