Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) continues to advance during their operation to liberate North Raqqa launched on May 24. The 4th arm of the SDF liberated 9 villages and 3 smaller settlements after the violent clashes on the 7th day of the operation.

4th ARM LIBERATES 9 VILLAGES AND 3 SMALLER SETTLEMENTS

Violent clashes took place between ISIS gangs and the 4th arm of the operation that began to move towards Tabqa through eastern Euphrates after a press conference yesterday. These SDF forces liberated 9 villages and 3 smaller settlements after violent clashes. The names of the liberated villages are Rimêlat, Hecî Elî, Abû Sefa, Cenef El-Ehmer, Xişxaşa Mezin, Neqût, Bîr El-Ehme and Xirbit Cemîl.

COMMANDER OF EUPHRATES MARTYRS: ISIS OCCUPATION WILL BE DEFEATED EVERYWHERE

Commander of the Euphrates Martyrs Battalion Mihemed Casim announced that the operation to liberate North Raqqa continues in 3 directions, and a 4th arm began to move towards Raqqa through Eastern Euphrates. Mihemed Casim noted that the 4th arm responded to the call of the region’s residents, and emphasized that their main goal was to satisfy the needs of civilians. Lastly, Casim emphasized that the SDF plays a leading role in the defense of the peoples in Syria without discriminating or favoring any group, and would soon defeat ISIS occupation everywhere.
