A citizen named Çetin Başer lost his life and another named Kerimhan Verender was seriously wounded when soldiers in the Durak Army Outpost on the Yüksekova-Şemdinli road opened fire on a vehicle.
Turkish soldiers in the Durak Army Outpost in the Şemdinli district of Hakkari opened fire on a civilian vehicle on Tuesday. One person lost his life and another was wounded in the shooting.
Reports say a vehicle travelling from Şemdinli to Yüksekova was taking a turn near the outpost when it was fired on. The vehicle was showered in bullets and in it, a citizen named Çetin Başer lost his life while another named Kerimhan Verender was seriously wounded. The wounded citizen was taken to the Yüksekova Public Hospital with the ambulance called to the scene.
