Blast in Mardin's Nusaybin district has killed a civilian this morning.

Ahmet Yiğit (42) got heavily wounded as he passed by the scene of the blast when it occurred on the historical Silk Road (İpekyolu) earlier today. Yiğit was taken to Nusaybin State Hospital but couldn't survive despite all medical efforts.

A number of armored police vehicles have been sent to the area after the blast.
