Shengal Resistance Units (YBŞ) and Shengal Women’s Units (YJŞ) launched an operation this morning to liberate the villages of Shengal from ISIS occupation.

Violent clashes broke out between YBŞ-YJŞ and ISIS gangs in the villages of Xeyale and Sikaniye to the south of Shengal, and 3 vehicles belonging to the gangs have been destroyed.

YBŞ and YJŞ units took control of the hills around these villages, and clashes continue inside the villages.
