People, guerrilla and peshmerga shoulder to shoulder in Kirkuk

Thousands have flocked to the guerrilla defense positions formed against the Hashd al-Shaabi attack in Kirkuk. Peshmergas who haven’t left Kirkuk are also taking positions with the guerrilla.

The people and the guerrilla forces are taking positions against the attacks by the Hashd al-Shaabi and the Iraqi army in Kirkuk. Many peshmergas who haven’t left Kirkuk are also taking positions with the guerrilla.

Some vehicles that belonged to some peshmergas who wanted to abandon the city were set on fire by the people. The people of Kirkuk cut the peshmergas off and chanted “You can’t leave” at them.

Many peshmergas who didn’t abandon Kirkuk have started to take positions, shoulder to shoulder with the people and the guerrilla.

Thousands of people from various neighborhoods of Kirkuk have taken up arms and started flocking to the guerrilla positions.

The guerrilla forces command in the region has called “people who want to defend Kirkuk” to their positions.
