People in Binarê Qendîl celebrated 15 August Initiative. A member of the Binarê Qendîl People's Assembly made a speech at the celebration held in the village of Zergele and said, "We are entering the 41st year of the 15 August revolutionary initiative. Since the first day the steps for freedom were taken, we have been tirelessly carrying out the revolution as a people and a movement."

The People's Assembly member added: "For the first time in the history of the Kurdish people, such a struggle for freedom has been carried out, and this struggle continues today in a glorious way. We salute Leader Öcalan, who showed us the way to freedom and stopped the destruction of the Kurds. May 15 August be a blessed day for Leader Apo, the guerrillas and all the Kurdish people. We commemorate all the martyrs of the initiative and promise to walk on their path."

The celebration continued late into Tuesday night with songs and halay dances.
