People in Maxmur protest Turkish state's attacks on Rojava

The people of Martyr Rustem Cûdî Camp, Maxmur, protested the Turkish state's attacks on Rojava with a march.

People living in Martyr Rustem Cûdî Refugee Camp in Maxmur, protested the attacks carried out by the Turkish state against Northern and Eastern Syria with a march.

The march, which started in front of the Martyr Families Institution, continued until the Martyr Aryen Cûdî Park.

Speaking there, Maxmur People's Democratic People's Assembly co-chair Filiz Budak said: "As the Kurdish people, we are facing both a physical and a cultural genocide. Our leader, Öcalan, pointed to this fact many years ago. The occupying forces and their paramilitary mercenaries have been fighting for a hundred years to prevent the Kurdish people from gaining status. Even though we bid farewell to our murdered friends, we draw our strength from them. Our martyrs are like instructions to us. Our job is to follow their instructions. They are guiding us and we will fight on this path until the end."
