In Dersim, a delegation including Peoples' Equality and Democracy Party (DEM Party) MP Ayten Kordu, co-mayor Cevdet Konak, who was replaced by a trustee, and members of the Dersim Alliance and Labor and Democracy Platform visited tradesmen. During the visits held in the Gazik (Republic) and Sihenk (Atatürk) neighborhoods, a call was made to attend the December Municipality Council Meeting to be held tomorrow, Tuesday, at 10:00 a.m. at the Underground Bazaar.

Cevdet Konak said that the people's gains were usurped by the appointment of trustees and invited everybody to the meeting. DEM Party MP Ayten Kordu said: "There is an intervention and hostile policy against Kurds, Alevis and democratic forces everywhere. The trustees are an expression of this policy. We said that neither arrests nor detentions would be able to make our people bow to oppression. We will continue our struggle for democracy and freedom everywhere."
